What is a good anit-virus and adware remover that you will recommend?
I need a good adware and antivirus program. I don’t want a program that you will constantly have to upgrade. One that actually work good.
What is a program that you use that you will recommend?

AVG antivirus (http://www.grisoft.com/ww.download-trial) is free and so is Adaware (http://www.lavasoft.com/single/trialpay.php). I use both and have had no problems.

The best one out right now in my opinion is Nod32, followed closesly by Kaspersky, and BitDefender.
They have the highest detection rates out there, and won’t slow your computer down and nag you as much as Norton or McAfee.
Good luck and take care,
Chris

AVG
when my computer crashed because of a virus, that was the program the computer guy installed. it’s free and updates by itself. and scans automaticly, when you get a virus it informs you and all you have to do is delete the virus.

AVG, Kaspersky Security Suite and Zone Alarm 7 Security Suite are among the best.
Stay away from Norton, McAfee, and Symantec. They Bog your system down and hog up a lot of you system’s resources.
Try Webroot as well

Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware its a program that specializes in getting rid of malware and adware and hackers. I think AVG is great but it sucks against adware but Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware is something else i used it to fix a spoilt 8 year olds computer that had EVERY adware and malware imaginable. AND it’s free so i highly recommend it

Actually koU-c , all the top Antivirus today work efficiently in detecting and removing viruses and malware. The point is, you have to update and upgrade them as soon as the updates and upgrades are made available.
Since the virus/malware algorithm keep changing, Antivirus software need to be upgraded to cope with the latest attack of viruses.
For me, the best Antivirus products are the one that are regularly updated and upgraded. Sorry if that didn’t answer your question, but I hope it will help you in other way.
